2.4.5 Suspended loads
Some of the most challenging tree rescues conducted by rescue services each year involve suspended loads .
The following types of suspended load may be encountered :
A Hung-up tree , limb or branch that is on the ground but partially suspended .
B Fully suspended stem or limb that is not on rope ( hanger ).
C Suspended limb or stem that is wholly or partially supported by a rigging rope .
D
Suspended limb with the line or the limb entangled with the casualty or with the casualty ’ s lines .
