• Correctly assess the tree for hazards and appropriate high points suitable for task .
• Correctly load and utilise the BigShot ® line thrower .
• Establish throwline high point .
• Secure access line ( 2 methods , basal tie off + canopy tie off .)
• Test load the system .
• Access with belay in a controlled and safe manner .
• Maintain 2 points of contact .

2 . Rope mobility : movement in tree
• Ensure lines to be climbed are secure .
• Correctly load ascent devices / descent devices .
• Utilise flip line for movement and securing .
• Move top high point anchor and establish another high point .
• Build 2-person ( rescue ) anchors for rescue .
